Terms & Conditions

Please note that specific event terms & conditions can be found for those standing on the application form.

General Terms and Conditions

Psychic Readings:

All those receiving a reading must be 18+ and by choosing a reading confirm this by default. It is not the readers responsibility to check the clients age with ID, however, where the client appears to be under that age are expected to ask the clients age.

For Spiritual Mediumship readings, spirit contact from lost loved ones etc cannot be guaranteed.

For Divination readings, the client must be aware that predicting the future means this has not happened yet so may not resonate at that moment in time.

No reader is able to read your mind, and as such examples may not be an exact representation of the matter being discussed and it is the client’s responsibility to fit the example to their situation.

All readings should be seen as “for entertainment purposes only.”

For mediumship Platform/Podium nights & table change nights, individual messages are not guaranteed.

Any clients deliberately abusing the reader or acting in any form of anti social way will be asked to leave with no refund. The event organiser reserves the right to ask anyone not acting in a socially acceptable way to be removed from the event.

Complaints (all events):

Please note that those standing at events are seen as Nu Wave customers the same as those attending events. Those standing must abide by the terms and conditions set out within the application form, however, outside of this they are renting the space from the event organiser and fall within their own business terms and conditions.

Readers: Any complaint regarding a reading should be taken up with the reader directly. All readers are required to have their own insurance, agree to having this at point of securing their place on an event, and are seen as self employed and not employed by the event organiser. It is at the readers discretion and business terms and conditions to whether a refund for a reading is granted, not the event organiser. Readers are not required to have their own recording devices. It is the client’s responsibility to record any readings themselves where recording devices are not available through the reader, such as psychic nights. Where the client feels the reader complaint is enough to warrant their removal from an event, the client MUST provide the event organiser a copy of this recording. It is then the event organiser discretion if the complaint warrants their removal.

Healers: Any complaint regarding a healing should be taken up with the healer directly. All healers are required to have their own insurance, agree to having this at point of securing their place on an event, and are seen as self employed and not employed by the event organiser. Healers agree to NOT offer medical advice or cure. It is at the healer’s discretion and business terms and conditions to whether a refund for a healing is granted, not the event organiser. Where the client feels the healer complaint is enough to warrant their removal from an event, the client MUST provide the event organiser a copy of any evidence supplied from a relevant medical professional. It is then the event organiser discretion if the complaint warrants their removal.

All other stands: Any complaint regarding any retail/information/charity/food etc, should be taken up with the stall holder directly. Any refunds should be taken up with the stall holder. Those standing agree at point of booking to follow all legal and relevant industry legislation. Regarding food and consumables, those standing agree to provide relevant documentation, such as food hygiene certificates, at point of booking. Where the client feels the stall holder complaint is enough to warrant their removal from an event, the client MUST provide supporting evidence (verbal or otherwise) to why they feel the stall holder should be removed. It is then the event organiser discretion if the complaint warrants their removal.

Complaints regarding the event organiser will be taken up through Urban Warlock Healing, who is fully insured and Trade Marked registered. Complaints will be initially responded to within 3 working days. Further investigation timescales will be advised at the time of the initial response.

Refund for paid events:

The refund policy for stall holders will be stated within in specific application form. The Nu Wave does not operate a “holding fee” for events and events places are not secured until the full required payment has been received.

Customer refund time scales will be stated on the ticket booking site; however, refunds will be granted up to a minimum of 7 working days for all events. Please check with the event organiser for the specific event as some require guaranteed reader payments.

Cancellations:

Customers: Where an event is cancelled due to low tickets sales, this will be advised on our social media streams and the customer will be entitled to a full refund.

All Stall holders: Any postponements of confirmed and contracted business or any Public Health Emergency declared by Public Health England, the Chief Medical Officer for England or any law or any action taken by the UK government or UK public authority that directly affects the operation of the event will be considered as a cancellation in accordance with the above cancellation clauses. However, provided the revised event date is agreed (subject to availability) and takes place within 12 months of the original event date, payments received by the event organiser from the client shall form a credit towards the future event. Should any postponement costs be incurred by the event organiser, the client will be notified and these costs will be deducted from the amount held as credit.

The event organiser shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God (other than one arising from or related to directly or indirectly from volcanic ash), strikes, lockouts, accidents, war, fire, breakdown of plant or machinery, and the event organiser shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations.
